Robbie, the Red Rubber Boot

This beautifully illustrated story recounts the adventures of Robbie, the red rubber boot which is washed out to sea during a beachcombing adventure with Ken Jones. After months at sea, Ken tells the story of how his family found Robbie in the most unlikely of places. The story also demonstrates the movement of tides and currents off the South Australian coastline.

Ken Jones is a proud Boandik Elder from South Australia. Ken has always shown a keen interest in the importance of sustainability and the environment and his current work as an educator reinforces and extends his passion. His knowledge of Australian flora and fauna is extensive & his achievements are many and varied, including his award for 2019 NAIDOC Male Elder of the Year, Boandik Community.
