Our Stories is a beautifully presented set of readers for the early primary years. This set of readers allows for all students to learn about the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, stories and histories directly from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Each reader provides the teacher with the cultural background of the author, allowing students to be able to locate the author's connection to country and make connections to the cultural story and the place. The Teachers' Resource provides additional teaching and learning support to engage students in developing a deeper understanding of the readers.
